Four Florida Chefs Travel to New York City

Chef Paul Mattison and Ray Arpke from
Euphemia Haye, together with two chefs from
the Ritz in Amelia Island were invited to
travel to New York City by The
Bradenton Area
Convention and Visitors Bureau to help them
launch a new culinary travel initiative
aimed at promoting
Florida's Gulf Islands to key New York area
media and consumers.
At the Culinary Loft event on March
12, Chef Raymond Arpke and Chef Paul
Mattison showcased the tastes of
Florida's Gulf Islands as they prepare a
four course dinner for approximately 30
representatives of national and New York area
regional travel and culinary media outlets.
The event featured an interactive
demonstration and tasting with wine pairings.
Chef Arpke prepared a Shrimp, Orange and
Tomato Risotto, while Chef Paul Mattison
served his Braised Short Ribs with Yuzu
Citrus Barbecue and Dried Hibiscus Flowers.
At Bloomingdale'sŪ on March 13, Chef Paul
Mattison
prepared Shrimp and Meyer Lemon Risotto.
